What We Do
Our Programs
Our community programs address fundamental needs and create pathways toward self-sufficiency — one neighbor at a time.
Program One
AVA Food Pantry — Hot Meals
No one in our community should go to bed hungry.
Access to nutritious food is a basic human right. AVA's Food Pantry program serves hot meals and groceries to youth, families, and seniors across our St. Petersburg neighborhood. We believe that consistent, dignified access to food is the foundation everything else is built on.
How to receive support: Email programs@advantagevillageacademy.org for current distribution schedule and intake information.
How to contribute food: We welcome donations of non-perishable items, fresh produce, and prepared meals through our partner network. Email donate@advantagevillageacademy.org to coordinate.
Program Three
Cancer Awareness Program
Knowledge saves lives.
Our Cancer Awareness program brings education, early-detection resources, and supportive outreach into our community. We work with neighbors navigating a diagnosis, families looking for guidance, and partners committed to closing the awareness gap that disproportionately impacts under-served communities.
Get involved: Whether you want to attend an awareness session, share your story, or volunteer for outreach events, we'd love to hear from you. Email programs@advantagevillageacademy.org.
More Programs in the Works
AVA continues to grow. New initiatives focused on youth mentorship, financial literacy, and small-business support are in active development.
